I believe in the principle of drawing from within the inner self, from one’s inner integrity and potentials to become truly an asset to the organization, the community and society. I believe in honesty and open communication as the key to good interpersonal relationship.

People can count on my sincerity, dedication to quality teaching, work output and productivity. I am hard working, enthusiastic, reflective, creative, and highly resourceful. Cultural Background
I came from a multi-cultural environment with people’s mind set strongly geared towards developing a globally competitive workforce through communication competence, education and leadership. I came from a very rigid educational system with strong academic preparations for theoretical and applied knowledge in Education, Communication Theory, Research, Strategic Planning, Design and Development of Effective Programs, Communication Campaigns, Marketing, Public Relations and Advocacy campaign programs.
Education and Fields of Expertise: Communications* Research* Education and Training
I am all-but-disseration for my Ph.D. in Communication and I certainly strive to pursue the degree in completion. I obtained M.A. degree in Communication from the University of the Philippines coupled by some M.A. courses in Education. My Bachelor’s degree is Economics and I have complemented this with M.A. courses in Development Theory and Planning.
For over fifteen years now, I have dedicated my endeavors honing my expertise and concentrating my work engagements in the field of Education, Research, Communications (be at the Interpersonal, Group or Organizational, Mass Communications level, face to face or technology mediated) and other communications related fields such as Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Planning and Framework Development as well as Media and Public Relations program, planning and
development.
Life, Work, & Leisure
While on my graduate studies, I took an active part in major research and communications projects in Asia. I began teaching in Colleges and Universities in the Philippines in 1994-1995 and onwards in 2002 and continued on with the teaching profession here in the United States from Guam, to California, then finally here in Pennsylvania where I teach Communications courses at Penn State University - Hazleton.
I have also been privileged to become part of the beautiful and excellent culture and tradition of the University of Phoenix as a faculty member of Axia College. I can claim that I reap great fulfillment and psychic rewards in shaping the minds and helping many aspiring individuals gain effective skills in business communication, research, and other college composition or writing courses.
I enjoy the marvelous excitement and bliss of life spending lots of time with my husband and daughter, family siblings and closest friends, have some nature trip, traveling and vacationing with my family on various places here in the United States. I watch a variety of good shows on TV, mostly together with my family, such as Discovery, History, Travel channels, as well as Food Network, some selected fiction and non-fiction detective shows. We also don’t miss out on main Football and Soccer games, Basketball, Golf, Billiards, Tennis, the Olympics and boxing championships.
